Dr. Doug Quan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry.

His field of specialty is that of general surgery. His subspecialties include Hepatopancreaticobiliary and transplant surgery in both adults and children. He is the Program Director for the Liver Transplantation Fellowship.

Dr Quan received his MD at the University of Saskatchewan in 1989. His residency in general surgery was done at the University of Western Ontario. He completed two fellowships at London Health Sciences Centre, one in Toronto, and another in Cambridge, England under Dr. David White.
