One way that CNETS Canada honours those individuals who have made an outstanding commitment and contribution to the NET cancer patient community is through our annual Maureen Coleman award. Maureen Coleman, CNETS Canada’s founder and past president was a remarkable woman who made an outstanding contribution to the NET patient community worldwide. Sadly, she passed away in 2013. The award is one way we can honour Maureen’s memory and recognize the exceptional work of others.

As members or our NET cancer patient community, we are looking to you to nominate individuals you know and have worked with who have made an exceptional contribution and are deserving of this honour and recognition. Two people need to make a nomination and submit a letter describing why the applicant is worthy of the award.  Nominations are due on October 30, 2016.  The recipient of the award will be announced on November 10th, World NET Cancer Day.

More information please see: 2016 Maureen Coleman Award Nomination

This award is not just about the individual who receives it.  It is also about bringing attention to the range of people who exemplify the vision and compassion of Maureen Coleman. We encourage you to look around you and recognize an outstanding contributor through a nomination in 2016.
