Dr. Ralph Wong received his medical training at the University of British Columbia and subsequently his post-graduate training at the University of Calgary and the University of Ottawa. He graduated from Medical Oncology in 1996.
Currently he is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Manitoba and CancerCare Manitoba. His areas of interest include gastrointestinal malignancies as well as neuroendocrine tumours. He is the Chair of the Gastrointestinal Oncology Disease Site Group Chair for the Province of Manitoba and is involved in numerous clinical trials.
Dr Wong has been involved in the management of neuroendocrine tumours since 1996 and has contributed to the development and recent revision of the 2010 Canadian Consensus Guideline for the Management of Neuroendocrine Tunours.
